Well, after a much awaited time away from my laptop, I am back, all fixed and ready to start posting again. I had purchased a beautiful box set of Gelatos after watching so many people using them, so now I'm giving them a try. I printed this picture knowing I wanted to do something special with it. With all of the bright colors we were wearing the Gelatos went perfectly. First I put some clear Gesso down on the page, then colored the 3 different colors on, and used a sponge brush dipped in water to blend them to my desired look. I also had to splash some Heidi Color Shine in black and gold on there as well, of course!

I also used parts of the manufacturing strips on the top of the layout, I think those are Amy Tan

I love the flow of the layouts. New mixed media is always a challenge, but I think you did a great job- and I love the sherbety colors you chose. They really complement the photo!
